Privacy policy
Effective October 26, 2026. Bluegrass Dry-Out Referral is a referral service that connects people with independent water damage restoration companies in and around Lexington, Kentucky. We do not perform restoration work. This page explains what information the service handles.
What you give us on the form
The callback form asks for your name, phone number, ZIP code, the kind of problem, and any details you choose to type. When you send it, the request also carries the time it was sent, the page it was sent from, and your device's IP address and browser type. The whole request, including the IP address, time and page, is emailed to the referral line so it can be passed to a participating company and so abuse can be spotted.
Calls
This site does not show a phone number yet, so no calls come through it. When a phone number is added, we will keep, for each call, the phone number you call from and the date, time and length of the call. This site does not record calls. Once a number is added, calls to it may be routed through a partner call network, and that network may record calls under its own notice. If no company is available and you leave a voicemail, we will keep that message so it can be passed on.
How the information is used
- To pass your request to an independent restoration company that serves your area, with the details it needs to reach you.
- To keep records of referrals, including for billing between the referral service and participating companies.
- To prevent spam and misuse.
Who sees it
Your request is shared with our service partner and with the company or companies that may take your job. Those companies are independent businesses with their own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We may share information if a government authority lawfully asks for it, or to protect someone's safety.
Phone and text contact
By sending the form you agree that Bluegrass Dry-Out Referral and its service partner may contact you by phone or text about your request. That consent is not a condition of purchase. If you no longer want to be contacted about a request, tell the person who contacts you, or send a note through the contact page with "stop" in the details box.
Website data
The servers that host this site keep ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. The site uses no advertising cookies.
How long it is kept
Requests and call logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and for ordinary business records, then deleted. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The service is for adults arranging help for a property. It is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will change too. Questions can be sent through the contact page; write "privacy" in the details box.
