How the referral works

Bluegrass Dry-Out Referral is a referral service. It connects people with water damage in Lexington and the nearby towns of Nicholasville, Wilmore, Georgetown, Versailles, Richmond and Berea with independent local restoration companies. It does not do the work itself.

Referral service, not a contractor. Your request goes to an independent Lexington-area restoration company. We do not do the drying or repairs.

What happens, step by step

You send the callback form with your name, phone, ZIP code and what happened.
Your request goes to the referral line. When an independent local company that serves your ZIP is taking work, your request is passed to it.
That company may call or text you. It asks about the damage, may send someone to look, and gives you its own price. Whether to hire it is your decision.
If no company is available for your area, your request is not passed on, and you may not hear back. You can always call any company you choose.

When a phone number is added to this site, calls to it will be forwarded to an independent local company in the same way, and anyone who reaches no company will be able to leave a voicemail.

Who pays

You pay nothing for the referral. Participating restoration companies pay to receive referrals, either directly or through a partner network. That fee does not appear on your estimate as a separate line. The company you hire charges you for its own work at its own prices.

Because companies pay for referrals, this site is not a neutral review of every restoration company in Lexington. It does not rank companies, and it does not claim the company you are connected with is better than any other. You can call anyone you like.

What this service does not do

It does not perform water extraction, drying, cleanup, mold work or rebuilding.
It does not handle insurance claims or speak to your insurer for you.
It does not inspect, vet or supervise the companies, and it does not warrant or guarantee any work. Before you hire, verify that the company is qualified for your job.
It has no office, no trucks and no street address. It is a web referral service.
